Quality Control of Medicine
For the inspection of parts used in the pharmaceutical industry, SAC has software that complies with FDA regulations. Notably, the pill inspection system is used to enhance medication safety in the prescribed dosages. The pill inspection system is marketed as a module and used in pharmacy systems. In many cases, SAC also builds the hardware around the inspection systems.
Pill Inspection
For verifying the correct filling of pill bags in pharmacy systems, SAC has developed a pill inspection system. A digital signature is taken of each pill during inspection, which is then compared to the signatures of the pills that should be in the bag according to the prescription. Every day, millions of pill bags are inspected before being sent to patients.
West RNS
Rigid Needle Shields are the caps used for storing used injection needles. Directly during production in the injection molding machine, the products are inspected using a Vision system. This ensures zero-defect quality, preventing the user from ever encountering the inconvenience of an ill-fitting cap.
Flip-Off Caps for Medicine Vials
The flip-off cap for medicine bottles is used in large quantities worldwide. SAC has an extensive range of installed Vision inspection systems for these caps at its customers globally and also supplies the complete flip-off seal production machine with integrated Vision inspection.
Defective Medicine Elimination System
The Trimtec products of a well-known manufacturer of pharmaceutical components are inspected for production defects in their composition using a Vision system. Both the seal and the cap are checked. SAC's Vision systems for these machines are used in Europe and the Far East. Zero defects through 100% product inspection is the path followed to meet strict quality standards.
Facial Temperature Meter AVG
The facial temperature meter that complies with the GDPR has been in production since May 1, 2020. By adding a printer with receipt, this system can be used in many places without immediately having a queue at the door. Digital scanning of the receipts is also possible. The interests of the person, the company and the employees are all taken into account and can even be set differently per situation if necessary. The system is set up by the operator, company or organization itself.
